The idea was awesome! I really liked how you didn't read all of the facts, because that would've gotten pretty boring. I wish the video was a bit longer though, to see what other troubles the shirt would get the main character into.

SleepDeprivedChicken responds:

Thanks! Your entry was pretty good as well! You know, if you're curious about what the other facts are on the shirt, you can check out the cartoon on Youtube (I posted a link in the description) and pause around the 1:28 mark at the right moment to read all 10 facts. They're not really "other troubles", just silly filler nonsense. :)

Ooooo I really liked this one! I loved the art style. The point of the video came across perfectly. The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't any story and characters to follow. It felt more like a fun lesson about the duality of life. But If that's what you were going for, then it was great!

Britbau responds:

Yeah, this wasn't meant to be a narrative piece but more of an existential reflection. Now that i'm in to the novice round I am going to try for more narrative work, this is overall a big experiment for me. Thank you so much for the positive feedback!

This is one of the funniest ones I've seen. You got really creative with the animation and I liked it! One thing that annoyed me was the construction lines of some of the heads still being present in the hair. This bothers me, because it's always something I have to get rid of when I'm making my own stuff. Keep up the good stuff!

CarelessShenanigans responds:

oh yeah, I know what you mean. It really bothers me too, but making it a seperate layer/part requires some significant extra work that I just didn't have time for (as I literally submitted it as i went out the door to drive to the air port, haha). Thanks for the feedback though

This was amazing! I loved everything about it. Anyone can see that you really had to step out of your comfort zone to achieve StejkRobot's style. The only thing i think bothered me a little was the sound mixing. Maybe it's just me, but I noticed that the volume went way up when the action started. It makes sense that it would increase when the big moment hits, but I think it went a tad overboard. It was a bit distracting, but not enough to stop me from enjoying the film. You did a great job. I give you the best of luck on winning the competition. And you speak spanish, right? I'm just going to say, me gusto un buen! Yo creo que puedo hablar por mucha gente aquĆ cuando digo que tu eres uno de los mejores animadores en Newgrounds.

Butzbo responds:

Hahah, I must say it was a really though challenge, and I'm glad it payed off on the animation aspects despite ending up in second place.
On the sound aspects, I normally work on the sound mixing myself, in between the process of finishing the animation, so I normally stop when I'm running out of time or when there's a much bigger priority on other details.
De todos modos, debo decir que fue genial llegar hasta este punto del torneo, muchas gracias por los comentarios!

Haha, very simple. For what it is, I like it alot. The sound effects were pretty funny and added a lot to the video. The animation, for me, was perfect for what you were going for. Good job!

GoonCartoons responds:

This section is harder to come up with than a short film.
